STUDENTS AND LEARNING AT ADVANCED PHYSIO PLUS

Advanced Physio Plus welcomes students from Ontario colleges and universities for observational and volunteer learning placements.

We do this because real-world exposure is how the next generation of clinicians and healthcare administrators actually learns. A textbook can describe a treatment plan. Watching one get built, adjusted week by week as a patient responds, and finally completed is a different kind of understanding; and it is not something a classroom can provide.

Students who join us spend time alongside our Registered Physiotherapist and our physiotherapist assistants, observing patient care with the patient's consent, and learning the operational side of running a clinic. All student participation is observational and supervised, and every student signs a confidentiality agreement before setting foot in a treatment area.
